NEW Sightseeing Tour!

Charlotte: On Exhibit
A Blend of Southern culture, Science and Warhol

Travel to the heart of downtown Charlotte to visit the Levine Museum of the New South, an interactive history museum, and experience the most comprehensive interpretation of post-Civil War southern society.  Check out the “Cotton Fields to Skyscrapers” exhibit and educate yourself on the New South’s major reinventions over the past 150 years that resulted in critical turning points in industry, city planning, and civil rights.  Then walk through Spirit Square, one of Charlotte’s amazing visual and performing arts centers and cross the street to explore Discovery Place.  Discovery Place boasts more than 300 exhibits including a live rain forest and an IMAX Dome Theatre.  See the sights of the Circus life in their brand-new featured exhibit.  Next, explore the Mint Museum of Art, spanning three centuries of creativity. Formerly the nation’s first branch of the United States Mint, North Carolina’s first art museum now houses noted collections that span the globe including an impressive American art collection.  Enjoy a guided tour of the exquisite exhibition Andy Warhol Portfolios: Life & Legends.  The exhibition will feature approximately 60 selections from various Warhol portfolios from the Bank of America Collection.
