What is the Polar Plunge?
The Polar Plunge is an event open to anyone willing to “bear” the elements for a good cause by jumping or slowly crawling into the frigid and icy waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
Where Does the Money Go?
Proceeds from the Polar Plunge support the American Cancer Society in memory of Daisy Cohan, Virginia Beach CVB Staff Member.
To Participate:
1. Solicit contributions. The entry fee is a $100 donation to the American Cancer Society.
2. Pre-register by Jan. 25th. (After the 25th - you can sign up on-site.)
3. Bring the collected pledges to the Registration Booth on the Marketplace Networking Floor by Thursday, February 7th.
4. Plunge attire: Anything but a wet suit and shoes.
Participants Receive
1. Bragging rights for freezing your tail off for worthy cause.
2. Polar Plunge Beach Towel. Beach Towels for all Plungers Sponsored by Virginia Beach’s Ocean Breeze Waterpark!

Just raise money so we can leave the Virginia Beach community stronger when Marketplace is over.
